I have a robe worth £12,000 but can only sell it £1200 max any ideas of shops with more money on offer?

The merchant with most gold is a Thieves Guild fence, Fathis Ules.
He has 1500 Gold limit. However if you have a high merchantile skill, you can ''invest in stores'' and add +500 gold limit. BTW, I didn't know that prices are valued in Euro. Seems like the EU has spread out indeed!
 Like Hypno says 1500 is max, although there is a trader with 2000 septims available if you get the Wizard Tower official mod. Not sure if she buys robes, though. And like mentioned you can invest 500 if you're a master merchant, and at master all traders have 500 extra septims as well, so you could theoretically get 3000 gold for it, if that woman from the mod buys robes. -------------------- Do not take me for a conjurer of cheap tricks!
