Okay, so, it's been awhile since I've posted, sorry, or got on (also sorry), so I might've missed some stuff, like, for example, where to post Skyrim fics. So I hope I'm not posting this in the wrong place.

PROLOGUE

My father always said that thinking Giants were friendly is everyone's first mistake. And usually their last, too.

For me, he was wrong on both accounts. My first mistake was killing that gorram chicken. The Giants were after I had escaped from prison.

So now I'm a fugitive. Yes, I know, I shouldn't have killed the chicken. That was the start of my domestic animal killing spree (or, at least, that's what they called it. I called it getting leather and meat.).

My father always told me I was a one-in-a-million kind of kid. Of course, if there are five million people in Skyrim, that means that there are four other kids exactly like you.

Well, I found those kids, and now we five teens of Skyrim are all fugitives together.

I had to go with Oblivion on this one, because in spite of its flaws (and there are many), I could play it right out of the box. I cannot do that with Skyrim because of its interface being just so damned hard to use (PC user here). It is just too much of a pain in the rear to try to play it.

Maybe someday Skyrim will be playable, but only if Bethesda fixes the user interface. I doubt that will happen though. I doubt mods can fix it either, because that is undoubtedly a question of altering the source code (which is illegal).

Woo Hoo- new story! And the first Skyrim tale, as well. And what a fascinating start!

@SubRosa, I think it should be legal...I bought the game, I should be able to alter it as I please...

@Petra, may I recommend longer, more descriptive parts?

So if I were to buy Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, and own it outright . . . is it okay for me to put a 'stache on her? Or red hair? Or make her completely nude?

No. Mona Lisa is intellectual property. So is the source code for any video game out there. So no, just because you own the game doesn't mean you have ownership rights to the source code.

Likewise, if I were to purchase a story you published, I can change the character to suit myself. Right? Not.

I went with skyrim because I've found it to be more immerse. The pc interface isn't all that bad, just don't use tab, that is a pain to use. Also spriggans don't attack unless you disturb them xD

Besides, dual weapons rule
