I'm going to start writing another Prisoner No. 54 chapter, just wondering if anyone has anything they'd like to see in this one that was missing from the last.

Also, could you please tell me any ways you think I can improve the story, and be cruel.

Finally, I have another story written which has nothing to do with Prisoner..., it is okay if I work on more than one story at once here, isn't it?

I've never read any of your stories but you can probably have more than one story at once. I have one I'm never going to finish on the second page here. As well as working on "Blotched Mediation" so I don't think it matters.

(OOC: Darn! Lonewolf posted before me!)

Though I wouldn't recomend that unless you feel you can do it and present it in the best possible manner.

I have to agree with jonajosa, it´s really the best to focus on one story at a time and do that well. It´s hard to keep track of multiple stories......

just my 2 cents

Thats why its good to do some 'research' on the story your writing, so in a way you know you'll be interrested in writing it... Just what happend to my first one, got all boring and started on a new one, thats going a little better... kvright.gif

So keep to one story.. :goodjob:

I would say just continue with prisoner number 54 and wait until that's done to start a new story...

A couple other things you can do:

Keep a notebook/Word file for your ideas for the new story- that way you don't "lose" the ideas.

Consider which of the ideas might fit in to the story you are already writing- perhaps with some changes.

As an example, right now I have ideas for the Trey "sequel," plus another MW story, and a non-MW story. I am focusing on finishing Trey, but I am brainstorming and planning the others, too.

Right, well before my opinion on the original question, a Trey sequel? biggrin.gif Good news indeed.

I've been working on a fanfic story, had another one I was writing with a gentleman named Phate, (which has collpased by the wayside), as well as trying to finish my novel and get it sent off to my agent. Result? The collabaration has fizzled out, and the fanfic is getting updated less and less frequently as I'm on a deadline for the novel. Just being able to concentrate on one would have made my life so much easier. My advice, for what it's worth, stick with one until you get stuck, then go onto the next idea until ideas on the original start to flow again. There's no right or wrong way, but you'll end up with one of them that you're less enthusiastic about, and writing that one will become a chore rather than a pleasure. Plus, every story usually has a distinctive voice that you're writing with, doing different stories at the same time can lose the individuality, with the result that they can both sound the same. Fine if its the same type, but not so good if you're trying to do something different with it.

Cool. A new chapter.

I cant be cruel to some one unless they are cruel to some one else, so sorry.

I know a few people who have more than one story posted. I see no problem. I may post the first chapter of my other story soon.[/quote]
