(A fanfic about Anthanes, my character in the roleplay. It's prolably filled with typos. tongue.gif It is intended to give some insight on his personality and background.)

"...Allright, lads. Today I am going to test you. Both of you are going to summon a Clannfear and keep it under control for one hour. Should it get out of control, though I'm confident that won't happen, you're allowed to use any way to dispose of it." , the aging Cyrodiilic Battlemage said to his two apprentices. His first apprentice was a half-dunmer with strong human features in his late teens. The second apprentice was a Breton, a few years younger than the half-Dunmer but with as much if not greater skill at magic, though less skilled in battle.

"...And I expect you to help the other out should such a thing occur." , the Battlemage added, more to the half-dunmer than to the Breton. Anthanes had always been a bit ambitious, and had the battlemage not known that the half-dunmer was his son, he would have kicked him out some time ago. The Battlemage had never married, so even while Anthanes was the result of a visit to a Dunmeri prostitute, he felt a responsibility towards him as he was the only family he had left.

"Ofcourse, master Carellius" , Anthanes said. "Though I'm not sure if Querin here would do anything besides wetting his trousers. Coming to think of it, maybe he'd run, too."

The breton turned a bit red, but with a gesture of his hand Carellius dismissed the argument and left the room. "Begin...I will return in an hour."

As the Battlemage left the room, the apprentices began chanting in the Daedric tongue, and in a swirl of magicka two Clannfear appeared. One went to stand near Anthanes, while a slightly bigger one stood near Querin.

"Hah! Mine's bigger!" , the young Breton said cheerfully to Anthanes.

"Bigger doesn't always equal better, Querin." , the Half-Dunmer responded calmly.

"Indeed, you're living proof to that." , the Breton sneered.

"Sometimes, it does happen to be better." , Anthanes responded, still emotionless.

"Prove it!" , Querin challenged Anthanes jokingly.

"Very well." , Anthanes replied to the Breton's surprise. The Half-Dunmer began chanting in the Daedric tongue again and Querin found his body stopping to move. Using a technique the Battlemage had thought them, he tried to resist the spell's effect through sheer willpower. While he was doing so, however, Anthanes began chanting another spell, and with Querin distracted he took over the Breton's control on the Clannfear. The Clannfear, along with the one he had summoned, stood near the Breton, who had failed to resist the paralyzation, threateningly.

Querin saw his short life repeat itself in a few seconds and prepared to die as Anthanes smirked triumphantly at him. Then with a few gestures and a chant in Daedric, the two Clannfear dissappeared to their own plane in a swirl of magicka and Querin could move again. Anthanes smiled.

"Is that proof enough?"

Sometimes doing an RP about your charcter before you start writing is a good idea. IT helps you get a better understanding of your character might act or feel.

actually there are lots of pople writing about their RP characters...

Red, Konradude, gamer10, Lonewolf, and now BobV.

I know there is one more person writing about their character, just can't think of who it is...
