First of all, like Oblivion, I was looking forward to this movie A LOT. i knew Heath Ledger would kick boat when everyone was saying "he's not funny enough" and I knew the movie would be spectacular.
That being said, I could not be more disappointed. Except for Heath Ledger, it was pretty stupid. I mean, compared to every other movie I've seen in the last like... forever ago, it was good. It's just, usually I just watch movies and turn off my inner critic cause if I didn't I'd hate every movie ever made. For this, I let myself criticize it.
Honestly the scenes were well done, it was smooth and interesting, and then Harvey Dent chose not to shoot the Joker in the face, and I was over it. I mean, the Joker did not make a very convincing argument. it should have taken a lot more to convince him not to shoot the Joker. And then he decided to hamster with Gordon, wtf? Cause Gordon trusted his officers too much?
Yeah the plotline with the Joker was fine, but every single scene with Harvey Dent had me pissed off. Not the actor, just the amateur job at his plotline. I expected much more from the Nolan Brothers. I mean, combine my favorite director with my favorite comic with somebody that spent a month locked inside his apartment preparing for his role as the Joker and... well I expected better.
The fighting also made me mad. batman didn't do any of the cool ninja stuff from last time. He just hit people with his wrists and they fell down.

And the Buddha replied, "Why not try crawling into the blazing furnace?"
