What do you think about the claims of the Mayan Calender predicting that there is an impending doomsday on Dec.21st 2012. Personally I think it's all just a bunch of non-sense just like Y2K was, but I am just wondering about other opinions and what not.

I am under the impression that is isn't literally a doomsday. It's supposed to be that the end of an age and the beginning of another. As for the Christian prospective on Armageddon, Jesus instructed us not to attempt to estimate when it would occur anyway (not that many people seem to listen). |
