The breeze outside the bar was cold, quiet and slightly melancholic. The city of cheydinhal was always like this, but the Cheydinhal Bridge Inn was not.

"Hey Lumpy, you gots any septim?" said a male dunmer with a pony-tail hair. Like any dunmer, this dunmer got fiery eyes, with his skin ashen gray. A leather cuirass on his torso, he had a rust dagger for protection. The rest of his attire was commoner clothes.

"What?! Lum-eep thought you were goin' to bring Emperor's coin, Damaren?" replied a rather stout argonian with an accusing tone. Unusuall for his race, this Betmer has a red skintone with brownish hue to it. Like his elven counterpart, Lumpy wore a leather cuirass over his clothes.

Damaren quickly stood up, rather annoyed that his argonian friend didnt bring any money, yelled;

"First of all it's called septims, and second with no money, that bouncer over there will have our asses thrown if we dont have any money to pay our bar tab-"

Suddenly he was lifted in the air by very muscular orc. The Orsimer wore a brown shirt, coupled with a plaid red pants. He wore leather boots, with an Iron mace strapped on to his waist.

"No money to pay your bar tabs again, Damy?" the orc's words were dripping with sarcasm, while malice shone on his eyes.

"Ummnn...n-no, m-me an-and my friend here are just discussing our mercenaries bar tabs, right Lumpy?" Damaren winked at Lupmy, while stummering in front of the orc.

"Mercernaries? I don't recall having a bunch of mercenaries 're." the orc wondered out loud, while scratching his chin in thought.

"Ummm, actually this isnt the place our allies visited." the dunmer answered. Damaren was known in Cheydinhal to be a fast-talker. In his youth, he fast-talked a guard to let him go because the guard caught him stealing.

He even fast-talked a merchant to giving him free wares, to the point that Damaren came back in his home with two sacks of armor and supplies. Until then, he was titled 'The Silver-Tongued Devil' by the citizens of Cheydinhal.

"Well if that's the case, can I join?" asked the orc. "This job is just boring every second. I've known you two with all my time here in Cheydinhal, and I know you will accept."

The duo just stared at him blankly, with Lumpy scratching his head in confusion.

"Well, to tell you the truth the men who had the bar tabs, were arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, so... Yeah, you can join Lugrub." the dunmer smiled an awkward smile.

"A band mercenaries, eh? This will be interesting, I guess Damaren has a good plan after all. Except for that day when we pretended we were jesters fo the Count of Skingrad only having us running for our lives when we discovered tha-"....

"Lumpy, prepare our supplies from our house, we are leaving for the Imperial City in one hour. Also buy us some weapons, here's the money."Damaren suddenly ordered. Lumpy irritated, replied with;

"By buying you mean stealing right?"

The Next Evening

"Ugh, finally the Roxey Inn. Let's stay here for night, men" Damaren said tiredly. Inside, the trio saw a female Nord chatting with an Imperial dressed in a full suit of Chainmail armor. As the trio headed for the Propietor of the establishment, the entrance of the Inn flew, and a dozen of Bandits entered.

"By the nine! Bandits! Run for your lives!" yelled a panicking Damaren. As the bandits spread out, five of them charged at the trio. Lumpy the argonian picked up a chair and throwed it at the nearest bandit, and while he was thrown backwards, his axe flew to the direction of Lumpy.

The argonian swiftly picked it up in mid-air and started swinging wildly at the bandit. Damaren, however, hid behind a table, shaking with fear. But when two of the bandits confronted him he became wild, picking up a bowl he smashed it on the bandit's face, but the other charged, mace swinging.

Damaren evaded a skull-crushing blow, but he knew that he would not last long. He searched for a weapon, anything that he could use to stall his opponent.

As the bandit grabbed him, a blade came out of his head.

"You gotta be more careful, mate." as the body fell limp Damaren saw the Imperial dressed in chainmail.

"Im Adellus" the Imperial smiled. The bandit who just got his face smashed alerted the other outlaws making it ten against four. The female nord hid below the counter crying in fear.

"Raagghh!" Lugrub roared as he threw a chair at the bandits direction. One of the bandits got impaled and screamed with agony. After that, the muscular orc picked up a table and swinged like a madman at the outlaws.

Lumpy also joined the fight and chopped at a Breton bandit, decapitating him on the process.

"Such ferocity, Argonian." remarked Adellus as he stabbed a Bosmer bandit. Lugrub broke the table he was wielding and grabbed a large broom. The bandits laughed, but those who got near Lugrub had their necks broken. This continued for a while.

After a short battle, the remaining bandits ran and said something about an ayleid ruin not far from the Inn.

"And don't you forget it!"roared Damaren arrogantly. Lugrub just shrugged and bent down to loot a bandit clad in Steel armor.

"Loot them and let's throw them outside, friends." Lumpy's voice was evidently tired.

As they looted the dead bandits, the Imperial sighed;

"Good ridance, I thought there will more of them. You handled yourself pretty impresive at the fight, lad. Let me guess..mercenaries?"

"Yep. We are the..the..Blue-O mercenaries, we are currently heading for the Imperial city, to recruit some more men, you wanna join the famous group of them all?" obviously this was a lie. The Blue-Orange mercenaries were just formed by a trio of no-good outcasts.

"Well, I'm currently longing for an adventure so, count me in." Adellus smiled proudly as if he winned a beautiful woman to marry. After minute or two of chatting,

Damaren fast-talked the owner of the inn for free use of the beds.

The owner thanked them for defending her Inn and asked if the group can help her get rid of a base of bandits they encountered.

"If we rested on top of free beds then consider it done, you ug- I mean beautiful nord." after the chit-chat the group headed upstairs and slept for the night.

A/N: Whoa, whoah and whoah. Scratch that one above this.
Blue O Mercs is up and running again folks!

Interflux.

"Listen, do you know the stories about the et'Ada that gave parts of themselves to the Final Creation, Nirn?" Asfrid patiently asked the reading Dunmer. With a nod from Damaren, Asfrid continued.

Before he can say anything, however, Lugrub smashed a lesser Golem's head in and the Earthly Atronach crumbled to dust. With a mere flick of his hands, the dust formed a body and the Golem rised again. Lugrub continued to practice with it. With a snort, he continued his delayed story.

"Those who gave only gave small parts of themselves became the Divines, like Akatosh or Mara. Those who gave themselves fully became the Earth Bones. Y'know, plants, waters, fire all that stuff. But those who gave themselves fully and survived, became the Ruler of the Elements, us.

Being the superiors, the Daedra became our masters. Only the good ones though, like Meridia or Azura. In this case, Jureni served the Queen of Dusk and Dawn. I serve Meridia because she and I share the same personalities.

Now that that's over with, I'll tell you about the mysterious Goddess. She was formerly Salidariel, the Goddess of Ice and Seduction. One day she got an arguement with the sly Molag Bal about who's the better deceiver. They made a bet with each other.
A bad bet indeed.

In the end, Salidariel lost and was corrupted by the Daedric God of, well, corruption." Damaren shrugged, and gestured Asfrid to continue.

"So, cursing her to sleep for a long time, Molag Bal placed her sleeping body in Kamal, the Snow Hell. You can guess the rest. Zator'El oom Kamal or whatever his name found her body and his very essence further corrupted her. In the end, she awoken and blamed Zator for her curse. Dismembered him and feasted upon the remains. I pity the fool.

Now, let's talk about Ashindusk. It was formerly ruled by the God of Flames and Mayhem, Fandrelin. Just like their God, Ashindusk and her inhabitants are a hostile bunch.

Did I mention that the people of Ashindusk are a cross between Dunmer and Dremora? Brave and cruel, they are. But they have a strict sense of honor.

Most of the terrain are volcanoes, twisted trees and all that hot stuff. But it's underground mines are filled with what we call Flamesteed ore.

Harder than Daedric armor and lighter than Leather. Good stuff. The smiths of Ashindusk forged many legendary weapons with this ore, including the infamous Goldbrand. All that tale about 'dragons' and 'knights in shining armor' are a bunch of Cliff Racer dung.

Fandrelin, being the destructive boat he is, went to war with Dagon, his bitter rival. Yeah, you heard me well. So, forging Goldbrand and enchanting it with the souls of a hundred Valkynaz he offered it to his master, Boethia.

Being a woman at that time, Boethia accepted the offer and graced Fandrelin's soldiers her blessing. Heck, she even graced him an offer he could never refuse, if you catch my drift. Ah, good ol' Fandrelin.

We're over with the Goddess and Fandrelin, right?" Damaren nodded. "Now, about your father, Jureni. To tell you the truth, he isn't your father.

He IS you. YOU are HIM. You see, if an Elemental senses Death calling, they cut a part of themselves and fill it with their essence, their life force. We're not really Immortal, in a sense. We die, we come back again in a new Incarnation.

So the Goddess went to invade Tamriel, she started with Ashindusk first. At that time, Fandrelin and the whole of Ashindusk are in the Deadlands, battling Dagon.

Jureni caught wind of the Goddess' plan and went to Ashindusk to defend it.
His companions are a die-hard worshippers of Azura, so they went with Jureni to win her favor. After the events of Red Mountain, the Chimer became the Dunmer.

Some of the shamans prohibited the worship of Azura, thinking it of a betrayal. Because Jureni, at that time, went to confront Salidariel, the remaining fanatics disagreed with the shamans, still believeing that the so-called 'Demi-god' will return.
He returned, and had two factions fighting over the island of Ashindusk. He managed to persuade the Dunmer to stop fighting amongst themselves, but some joined Salidariel. The rest is history. You might be confused to why I'm suddenly telling you this." Damaren shook his head, not really caring. "Well, you're gonna need it for the coming Storm."

He finished with a bow, expecting an applaud from Damaren. Instead, he got an electrical shock and a cackling Dunmer. He easily shrugged it off by making the tiles in front of rise, blocking the lightnings.

"Are you out of your mind, boy?!" his very voice made the Aileyed ruin rumble, with giant plants suddenly growing beneath his feet. Most of the worshippers of Asfrid, the 'bandits' they encountered earlier, and Damaren's friend stopped what they were doing and glanced at the two Gods. Damaren shrugged, obviously not intimidated.

"Aww, I thought auntie Azury wants uncle Asfridy to teach naughty Damy how to control his naughty gifts!" he mocked-complained, while he battered his eyelashes at Asfrid.

The Old Elemental just gave him a look like Damaren slept with his wife, which of course Asfrid didn't have. Adellus, Lugrub and Lumpy laughed at the same time.

"You.. You'll learn respect b-", Asfrid was cut off with a rather loud explosion of white light. The impact blew everyone off their feet, but only the two Elemental Gods stood unscathed.

A stunningly beautiful Dunmer lady stood, wearing a beautifully woven dress that made her look like a Goddess.

On her left hand was a masterfully crafted star while on the other hand was a moon. Both of this statuette glowed brightly.

Azura smiled, making some of Asfrid's followers cover their eyes. It was so bright, that even Damaren had to turn away to shield his eyes.

"I see Jureni has blessed you with his tongue, Young One. A pleasure to finally meet my Champion. Now, speak Juren." her voice spoke of undisputed authority, but at the same time held a sweetness to it. Damaren shooked his head, and returned the smile.

"A long time since we habe spoken in Nirn, Mistress. I have to thank you again for reinforcing the Elemental Bond." Damaren bowed politely to the Daedric Goddess, while Asfrid and everyone, except Azura, felt their jaws drop. Damaren's voice, posture and the way he spoke changed tremendously.

"Jureni?" Asfrid quivered with doubt, with his hand shaking ferociously.

"Aye, it is me. But this interflux will not last long, at least for a few minutes. So I will make that mere time the best. Brother, Salidariel is planning to invade Tamriel again. Not suprising I know, but if She succeeds, the whole of Nirn and possibly Aetherius will be changed.

She plans on waging war with the Divines and Princes Themselves! I fear the demonic essence that surrounds her has finally destroyed Her last bit of sanity. The interflux is... fading away", his tone suddenly became desperate and he looked straight at Asfrid.

"..Anastavelia, High.. Rock, Camlorn.. Nejannil, Mournhold of Morrowind.. Hastingeal, Archon.. Find them and stop the Mad Salida-", Damaren clutched his heart, and growled in pain. He coughed off a few of his blood before passing out.

"He.. He just told us the location of the other Gods.. A thousand thanks upon you, Jureni. That was just what we needed. A lead to start." Asfrid turned to Azura, but unsuprisingly, she wasn't there.

"A thousand thanks to you also, Queen of Dusk." of course, he received no reply. But somewhere, Asfrid heard the faint chuckle of a Daedric Prince.

A/N: Is there any way you could change the title? I'm just going to erase the 'Prologue' there, it's unnecessary. Thanks.
