What do you think about the claims of the Mayan Calender predicting that there is an impending doomsday on Dec.21st 2012. Personally I think it's all just a bunch of non-sense just like Y2K was, but I am just wondering about other opinions and what not.

 Yeah, I don't believe it. As several people already have stated, I think we should accept that the world will end when it ends. If that is in 2012, 1 billion years from now when the earth is no longer habitable, or 3-5 billion years from now when/if the Andromeda galaxy and the milky way collides, that remains to be seen. I mean, seriously, it's not as if though we could do anything to stop it.  Sure, it's going to be totally annoying if the world ends in december 2012, since that means I've got a little less than a month until I'm 18 and I haven't had time to do anything with my life, but as I said, there isn't much to do about that. -------------------- I no longer use this acoount since I can't do anything with it.
