Is There A Place That Tells... Options

Is there any place on this site that tells the criteria for the different bullets and titles that show up under your avatar? Mine just changed and I tried to find out what it meant and couldn't find it anywhere.

Also, is there a way to fix the censor settings so if I accidentally use a word that is not allowed it will show up [censored] instead of choosing a random word and inserting it? It is much harder to see the random words, leaving me not knowing they have been altered so I can fix them.

My first shock was when I found out Darkom's age. After that there were a few more that stunned me - then I just had to realize that we are on the brink of a new BOOM, a new generation that will take what they see in front of them and make something better from it that will change the course of the future. Someone that can create genius from nothing, someone who can make your jaw drop with words or lyrics.

With the creativity and intelligence of todays up and coming - we are ripe for another BOOM - and I hope to see it, because the last (at least) two decades have been sadly lacking any innovative ideas.



Movies:

For almost two decades they have brought back remakes of classic movies (IE: True Grit being redone, etc.) - but nothing new that will change the course of movies in the future - like these movies from the past did:

EX: Peter Benchley - the original Jaws; like Star Wars; like the person who thought up the idea of getting dinosaur DNA from mosquitos fossilized in amber and cloning it as a premise for a series of movies...like AI, or the Boys From Brazil.


Music:

The first person to bring Rock and Roll sound to the public, changing the music we listen to forever - like Pink Floyd who created a sound no one could immitate and it is still avidly listened to decades later.



Inventions:

People that really invented things (NOT the snuggie) - like Eli Whitney - the Cotton Gin, like Otis - the elevator - something new that leaves the world standing around in AWE thinking, "why didn't I think of that?" I hate to use him as an example, but ... like Bill Gates.


Heroes:

A true hero - Not a celebrity idol that can't keep off drugs but think their "position" means their opinions are golden pearls. A hero like Jessica Lynch.

The media grabbed Jessica Lynch's story like a pack of hungry wolves - then didn't think it was powerful enough in itself, so they ad libbed some extra stuff onto it - stuff that she fully denied as soon as she was capable of speaking.

The story she told was truth, and horror enough on its own - but the media didn't think it would attract readers, so they dumped her like a hot potato for telling the truth. True heroes are forgotten in the media's rush to get a bigger story and more readers or listeners.
