Just found a list for some of the perks and racial abilities in Skyrim. The list may not be 100% accurate considering it was from a recording however a lot of the abilities make sense.

Skyrim Perks and Racials

As far as they go a lot of them make sense and seem quite ordinary, some of them are also very interesting. I like the idea of some perks carrying across all skills, like the Illusion perk where you cast spells from any school of magick silently.

Of course there are more to see, and there wasn't much detail on most of the racial abilities but they seem pretty close to the old ones, apart from the Dunmer's new assault ability.

Personally, I think that these "chance of more epic death" perks are completely worthless and a waste of a slot if that is all they are offering (looking at Shock death perk here). They do nothing beneficial in any way for the player and add nothing to the game, so why do I have spend a perk point on them? At least "Bloody Mess" in Fallout 3 gave you a slight damage boost on top of turning on "Gears of War" gore mode. Dead is dead, I don't care how they die. Nothing useful ever comes out of watching someone die, so I see no reason to invest in making them die in more spectacular ways if that is all the perk will do.

I am glad to see the Breton magic resistance has evaporated. That trait was horribly unbalanced in both Morrowind and Oblivion. Replaced with a less potent magic absorption trait as a Greater Power, it would seem.
