So Bethesda announced that Hearthfire, a piece of shiny new DLC, will be coming out in just a few days time.

Fun enough for $5. It gives you a much larger place to settle down than any of the other houses available. There isn't much customisation but the fact that it is a fairly large building with the ability to move your family (including a couple of kids) in and bring a pet there.
The locations for the buildings are also pretty sweet spots and the mechanic that you use to build your home keep you busy for a while so it is good.
