Don't Use Real Silver Swords by Gizmodian! Options

This is just a heads up for folks who play modded Oblivion. For the last few days I have been having problems with major stuttering in the game, to the point where the game literally just stops for a full second and sits there doing nothing. I spent days trying to figure out what was causing it, disabling everything from FRAPs and even my anti-virus, increasing my fan speeds, monitoring my cpu temps, and even turning off QTP3 and disabling AA and AF. Nothing helped.

Then I put away the sword I had been using from Real Silver Swords - not just sheathed it, but completely deselected it so that it was not on the screen - and suddenly everything ran smooth and silk again. I turned everything back on, and it still runs great. So it was the sword from that mod that was completely frelling my game, and making it literally unplayable.

So watch out for that mod. I suggest you never use.

I have no idea what they did with the swords to make them such game killers. But what they do is turn your game to crap. I only ever used the claymore, so the other two swords might have been alright. I would not chance it though.
