Fair dues, pretty brilliant stuff, as ever...

I'm a relative latecomer to the story, so I had no idea of the retconning thing, therefore I will simply say that I loved the whole history thing herein...Indeed... ...

I stopped him with a raised hand. “You know now what Magius is capable of. He himself is no fool, and can read people far better than you. If I tell him, he knows who is telling him it, and he knows the consequences of trying similar tactics on me as he did with Maren.”

Falco stopped for a moment, and for the first time since our friendship, I saw a little fear enter his eyes when he looked at me. He understood what I was trying to say, without saying it.

I love these teeny quiet little threat things where you really do think that should he want to, the whole colony would die quietly and without any one else seeing a damn thing...Brilliant character...

Fantastic stuff, sorry it took so long to get around to telling you so...
