I have an idea that can save much trouble. It aplies to all RP thread herem so I've made a new post for it. How about when we start to post, everyone just makes a post/reply that says "posting". That way you can edit it to put your peice in and everyone else who is reading will see it and not confuse people by posting something that has passed.
EX:
Bob
He jumped into the air.
Chicken
Posting-(but is writing his post using the Edit feature)
Mary
*waits to read Chicken's post to make sure she doesn't miss anything before posting her's.*
You see? Mary would have put that she caught Bob but saw Chicken's "posting" message and waited. Meanwhile, Chicken was posting that he grabbed Bob by the leg and slammed him into the ground. By simply using this simple method the RP'ers avoided the confusion that otherwise would have been:
Bob
He jumped into the air.
Chicken
Chicken grabbed Bob and slammed him into the ground. He then picked up a boulder and chucked it ontop of him.
Mary
*Didn't use the "posting" method*
Mary stood across the room, waiting to catch Bob. She caught him and sat him gentlely down beside her. "Are you alright?"
Simple, easy, and prevent major screw-ups. This has been helpful advice from you friendly neighborhood Dementedsnake (named Hukai The Wandering here).
yeah, but most attacks are planed out as to who will will in the planning threads...im not saying you have to use this method, im just saying that it's helpful.
Yeah, well, i tend to preview my post before posting, which also shows what posts have happened in my posting.
So i don't get painted up that way.
