Theme Music, Every Good Hero Should Have Some Options

Every hero needs theme music. Often when I when I am listening to music a song will grab me, and I will think "That is perfect for so and so!" Share some of your own character's theme music. Or theme music you think fits other people's characters. I'll get the ball rolling with some songs that make me think of characters from the TF/AF

Teresa = Hoobastank - The Reason (This is specifically about how the Emperor changed her life)

Teresa & Tadrose = Heart - Under the Sky

Teresa & Simplicia = Ayumi Hamasaki - Who (Lyrics in English)

The Bravil Fighters Guild = Rob Tyner - Blood Brothers

Kurdan gro-Dragol = Queen - Gimmie The Prize

Morandil = Queen - I Want It All

Aela = Rod Stewart - Faith Of The Heart / Eric Clapton - Layla (the piano coda)

Aela & Ungarion = Queen - You're My Best Friend

Valens = Enya - Evening Falls (we will meet him in a few more episodes of Seven)

Valerius Nasica = Kansas - Carry on Wayward Son

Methredhel = Fire Inc - Nowhere Fast

Chance = Elvis - A Little Less Conversation

Do'Sakhar = Bon Jovi - Never Say Die

Rosa, I thought Teresa�s song (The Reason) was perfect. And I just loved Chance�s song!!

mALX, Gils� is a heartbreaker.

One that just came to me was for Jerric, everyone's favorite brawling Nord The Sweet - Ballroom Blitz

Now that is a bottle-breaking, ass kicking, adrenaline-fueled song!

DE, I especially enjoyed Vera�s first song.

mALX, you got me again with Mad World. Wow. Fathis.

I always think of Buffy when I hear Enya!

Black Hand, I didn�t know the source of that quote. Seth�s song is haunting and a little disquieting, but beautiful. How fitting.

ghastley, Fat Bottomed Girls was in our playlist on today�s drive home. I couldn�t remember Virgilia�s name at the time, but I thought how appropriate for the one in the white boots!


Here�s kind of an obvious one for Abiene: Live�s The River. (Much better live, but try to find Live�s The River live. Google chokes on that one.)

Some wishful thinking from Jerric: I Melt With You.

A note: This one has a very naughty word. Darnand has some deeply buried insecurities and self-loathing that he would rather not expose. Here�s a song for his darkest moments: Creep.

And this one�s for Lildereth: I Will Remember You.

I know your pain about doing internet searches about Live! I have been a fan of them for a long time. I even used Ed Kowalczyk as a character in my old pen and paper Shadowrun game.

I can so see that for all their songs. Even poor Darnand and his low self-esteem. Let's just hope that he can keep his fingers out of the necromantic pie, and this never becomes his theme song.
