Most of my favorites are labeled Indie Rock or Alternative, whatever thats supposed to mean these days. I guess they both fit under the first category.

I don't tend to like types of music, so much as songs or singers and such. As a result my mp3 player is a mess.
Seriously, I've got Jimi Hendrix, Taylor Swift, Paramore, Jay-Z, Aerosmith, Bluetones, a couple of Indie compilations, a few soundtracks, and more besides. According to the genre list I've got everything from alternative country to trip hop on there, and I don't even know what half of them are. I realy need to sort that out, I don't even listen to hip hop or rap anymore -------------------- A mind without purpose will walk in dark places
