Celia stood there, shocked at Niran's words. "Niran... I understand how you feel. I adored Arco, but I do not treat people the way you do. Look around at the group, Niran! The others had terrible, terrible things happened to them... Yet, I do not see them disrupting the peace or hating others because of their past pains and suffering!"
She paused. "Look at Shakur. He's a werewolf for goodness sake! Yet, I do not see him hating others. Or look at Sel. He's lost some loved ones. Yet, he does not treat others like that, either." She gestured to herself. "And look at me. I have lost two good, kind companions, and maybe even my parents during the demon attacks on Cyroodiil." She took a deep breath. "Do I hate people for that? No. Because they are not responsible. Sel is not responsible. Serene is not responsible. You are not responsible..." She shook her head sadly. "Maybe this is not getting through to you, after all." |
