Basically the idea here is to discuss RPGs in general (duh! ) So if we want to compare RPGs with each other and/or the elements within the term we can do that here

Heh, my problem is that when I get into a game (currently ESO), I forsake all others and stay 'mono-gamous' for years at a time. For example, the last two decades of my gaming have involved no more than 5 games, typically played exclusively for 4-5 years each.

Really? Interesting. Personally, I couldn't do that. There are definitely times I can get caught up in a game (e.g. Half-Life, Divine Divinity) for a stretch, but I also need some variety.

But hey, you're dedicated!
