Okay, re-watch the trailer and at around 1:05 pause. There is a skeletal monster with a black cloak throwing a fire ball and apearativly hovering above the ground. My guess is a lich, for some of the other screen captures appear to have liches also.

Most definently a lich, I don't think they'd make a skeleton float about like that.
The lich also seemed to have a bit more skin the skeletons do (opposed to none) it's a good way too tell the difference between a skeletal mage and a lich. |
