Old Bethesda forums have been archived Options

The old Beth forums were finally slated to close down, this time for good. They'd been in read-only format since some time in 2017, but due to the cost of keeping their security updated, it was looking like they'd close for good this past Monday, February 17th.

Well a few of us raised a fuss about this. Because holy crap. All those stories. All those pics. All those discussions, good times, modding info, all of that would be gone at the pull of a plug.

Fortunately though, our cries were heard. The forums were left open until March 9 now, but they've already been saved to archive.org.

Here is the link, for those who ever wish to revisit them. I personally am relieved about this, since I had recently begun archiving as many of my own threads as I could. A frustrating endeavor, and I'm glad this doesn't have to be done, now.

I haven’t visited the old site since it was made read only. It’s been a while since I visited the Beth.net forums as they became full of nothing but negativity. That and BGS hasn’t been talking about any of their new projects (Starfield, TES6) so I have no real reason to go there.
