Oblivion A-Bomb Bug Options

I vaguely remember this being covered elsweyr ( ), and if so this can be deleted if someone would be kind enough to guide me to the proper thread, but I was curious if this issue ever got fixed by any mods. Maybe the Unofficial Patch?

Buffy moved from Oblivion back in 2014 but I remember the A-bomb well. We found the simplest fix was to install Wyre Bash - that can be a bit intimidating but carefully follow the instructions. Once installed, WB has basically a one click 'fix A-bomb' feature that works wonderfully. That is why I installed WB but once I began getting braver with it and tinkering with it I found it a handy utility with some other very nice features. I never did get brave enough to use it for installing/managing mods (I used OBMM).

Ah! Wonderful! I don’t suspect my ADD will allow me to play a single character for 400-500 hours but it’s nice to know there is a fix for this bug that sounds absolutely horrific! Thanks A!
