With Vicious's tale concluded for 2021, I think I am going to return to Fallout New Vegas for awhile. I abandoned this game last January or February after Linda Hand got killed by a pack of deathclaws.

Which really made me upset, because she did everything "right". Ate a Stealth Boy, tried to enter a door she found in the middle of nowhere. Well, Stealth Boys are useless in this game (didn't even slow the deathies down, or confuse them at all) and the door she found was locked with a Needs a Key lock.
Even though her game wasn't DiD, I didn't feel like I wanted to continue it. Just didn't feel right.

I really love that gal, but she wasn't really the swashbuckling desert warrior type. Maybe that, in fact, is sort of an issue.
So my Fallout Character idea is to roll somebody whom I don't really love quite so much. I know that sounds weird, especially coming from me. I really love the Mojave though, and I enjoy the way Obsidian structured the game's quests (in contrast to Fallout 3) So I don't want to abandon FONV.
I am going to roll a series of adventurers, I think, all with the usual silly Renee names. First will be a guy named Justin Case. The roleplay won't be so heavy with him (yeah, I know I've said this in the past

). Justin will probably be my first to take on the quest in Goodsprings, the one with Ringo. Linda Hand and Karen Aboucha never did that quest.
