A servant of Boethiah-Chapter 1 Options

[Miazma]

Hello everyone. I would like to introduce myself before I post the first part of my story. I have written many stories and fan fics for games and this is my first for morrowind. I have had the game since february so I believe I have collected enough information to start writing. Thhis story is about a dunmer by the name of Miazma. He is a servant of Boethiah and has daedric blood in him. He is 3/4 daedric to be exact. I don't want to spoil the story so I won't go into details. You'll just have to read. Without further adew, here is the first part of chapter 1.

Miazma, I have another task for you. Travel to Buckmoth Legion fort outside the city of Ald'ruhn. The knight there, Imsin the Dreamer, must be assassinated. I shall not go into details as they are not helpful nor are they needed. Kill Imsin and return to my shrine. Go now...

Miazma woke. He looked around for a short time before he remembered the dream. Boethiah had a task for him. He stood and looked to his right. There lay his armour, a full set of daedric with the tower shield and the face of inspiration. He strapped it on and reached under his bed, pulling out a small chest.

Before he opened the chest, Miazma bowed his head, closed his eyes, and began to speak.

"I ask you, Boethiah, for the skill required to smite my enemy. He must not kill me, I must kill him. I must swing this blade faster than a bow fires an arrow. I must swing this blade more powerful than an orc swings his hammer. I must swing this blade with the accuracy of a khajiit assassin. I must do this in your name. Praise you..."

He then opened the chest and reached in. He withdrew, very slowly, a grand katana. Goldbrand. He held the sword in his right hand as he withdrew the sheath with his left. He strapped the sheath on and pulled off his left gauntlet. He knicked the end of his thumb before wiping the blade and sheathing Goldbrand. He never sheathed it without allowing it to taste blood. He put his gauntlet back on and smiled. Time to go kill someone.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This, very short it may be, is the first part. The part I am currently working on will be 2 to 3 times larger than this and it will include fight scenes, which are my specialty.

"You look like you're angry. I can't imagine why. I have killed no one close to you...well, not that I am aware. Look, i'm just here to kill you so let's just get this over with." Miazma's voice was full of anticipation.

"Don't mock me! You may have gotten past my guards and my husband but you will not kill me!"

"There may be some truth to those words. I'll tell you what...if you don't want to be killed by someone such as myself then I suppose I will allow you to commit suicide. It's been a while since I've witnessed it. Would you mind if I gave you some ideas as to how you could do it?" replied Miazma hopefully.

"I will not be made fun of by the likes of you. I may be defeated this day...but I will not be forgotten." said Imsin

Miazma broke into a state of uncontrollable laughter. He couldn't hold himself up and therefor fell to the ground. He rolled back and forth and evventually managed to calm himself enough to stand and speak.

"An honorable officer of the Imperial Legion would surely be nice enough as to provide me with some entertainment. Perhaps you could attempt to defy nature and eat a glass bottle? That would be entertaining." Miazma struggled to speak straight.

Imsin had had enough. She charged, holding her imperial broadsword high over her head. As she swung Miazma dodged to the right and watched her stumble and fall. As she rose again Miazma pulled Goldbrand back and threw it. It rotated as it flew through the air toward it's target. As soon as Imsin turned around Goldbrand was upon her. The might sword sank into her stomach far enough to go completely through her. She fell to the ground.

Miazma walked casually to the body of the dieing imperial officer. He pulled Golbrand from her stomach and began unstrapping her armor.

"What are you doing?" she asked in a weak voice.

Once he had taken the cuirass off, Miazma grabbed the shirt of the woman and used it to wipe the blood from the blade of Goldbrand.

"I can't have my sword stinking up my shack, you know." he said humorously.

"You heartless litt--" Miazma thrust her own sword into her face before she could finish.

Another accomplished mission... he thought to himself.

Miazma stood, sheathed Goldbrand, and was on his way to his shack.

Once he arrived he bowed before the statue of boethiah, listening for the prince...

Well done, Miazma. Imsin is dead and our plans are preserved. I have been waiting to tell you of my plot and I believe now is the time. I have been planning to take over morrowind for many years. I have asked no other prince to aid me for I may be betrayed. Therefor I have been buidling a massive army in secret and am planning to launch a series of attacks in different areas of morrowind simultaneously. I need elite warriors and skilled commanders to aid me in this conquest. That is why I have been in contact with you. When you were only a child I sensed that you would be one of the greatest warriors in Tamriel. Therefor I contacted you and have been sending you on missions and training you myself. Now I must ask you to do what you were meant to do. Be the general of my armies here on Vvardenfell. You are currently the most powerful warrior on Vvardenfell and I need you for this.

"I have no leadership skills. I have always worked alone." was Miazma's reply

You do have leadership skills. You will find this out on your own soon enough.

"What'll you have me do?"
