OOC: hopefully that's a good conclusion. Should make Vivec a nice hotspot for you guys to come see in the next RP. I only wish i had the artistic ability to show you gusy the city in my mind.
Megil roamed around Ald'Rhun speaking with his friends, and also hearing alot of encouragement and offers from those of Vivec. The sylphs had left shortly after battle and returned to the sea, soon only to once again become rumors of seductive women from the sea, despite their service to vvardenfel.
He hung around the city for the celebrations and after some goodbyes left with those from Vivec. Vivec was a city of tents and wooden shacks just outside the ruins for Several years, as plans where made for the building of the New City, which was to surpass the Glory of Old Vivec. The best Artisans, Architects, Enginers and creative minds were consulted to design the city. Having a 7,000 year old inheritance of gold, found in sunken vessels, jewelry take from those who ventured alone near the seas at night, and Many priceless and unique items resided with Megil, supplying him with quite literally infinite resources, which were used to pay for the cost of the new city.
Thanks to the aid of the Mage's guild, construction was sped up considerably, and within 5 years nearly 50% of the city was built and open to the public.
Statues of great warriors (AMU people and others) of the god's, of mythical beasts, and artistic works lined the tiled plazas, fountains where plentiful, A parks where added as places of quiet refuge, literally a jewel floating on the water is what became of Vivec. The city drew peopl back in by the thousands, the houses each building their own gilded halls, and even the halls of justice where a splendid site.
Megil, being the largest patron for the city, was given a position as Chief of Defenses. As such he reinstated the ordinators and had magical enchantments laced through the architecture of the city, protecting if from future asaults. Gigantic crystals where made, and enchanted and placed around the perimeter, their purpose eluding the citizens, for they would when activated suround the city in a protective barrier. Vivec grew to be an architectural wonder throughout vvardenfell, a jewel of the god's many would say not knowing that it was funded mostly by one man.
However, little did people realize that this city was also a fortress, its airy light and elaborately detailed architecture that seemed to defy natural laws, housed many physicaly and magical traps. But such news was known only by a few sworn to secrecy on magically enforced vows.
Megil resided in a large manor in Vivec, guarded by bodyguards, and often busy with official business. His plans to protect the citizens from future attack by armies and mages alike, his many advisors constantly reporting the situations of the city. Very little happened in the city that Megil did not know about. What frustrated him most, was the bickering of the Houses
OC: i figured the last line was a good leader into the next RP.
