I got a new videogame guide and it said Oblivion has downloadable content via Xbox live. I currently do not have Xbox. It said you can get new armor and stuff but you needed Xbox points. How do you get these points? Do you have to buy them?

Yes there will be downloadable content, including a holiday like event. And yes you can get better horse armor by having a good gamer score (Which you get by playing lots of games
