Not even that though, those are just gore flicks. Like frankly I thought Saw was a very good movie even though it was a horror film. But like, I dare anyone in here to see the foreign film, "Audition," with a helpful reminder, it will hamster you up. Some films are just gore-flicks, like Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Some are just slashers, like Michael Myers and Jason and and Freddy and all those creeps. Some films are true horror stories though. Some movies just delve so deeply into how much can the author psychological screw up the main characters, or how long can he make the audience feel uncomfortable after seeing the movie. The Vanishing, Deliverance, May, Last House on the Left, all examples.
