As far as Horror movies go, the only ones I like are phychological thrillers. The ones that tease your mind. Not so much the bloody/gory/chopping mass murdering ones.
There's a personality test,
Would you survive a Horror movie?Apparently, I would.
My results:
You Are So Alive.
No psycho slayer is going to get between you and your right to life. You're an boat-kicker, a charge taker, and if need be, a monster masher. You're level-headed in sticky situations, you trust yout instincts, and you're not afraid to get a little dirty while getting the job done. Simply put, you rock! But don't get carried away. Even though your little brother might act like a creep sometimes, you definately shouldn't be driving stakes through his heart.
I finally convinced my parents that I was a little old to be Trick or Treating. I told my mom that I was going to hang out with some friends instead. She got upset because I wouldn't tell her which friends (I value my privacy-and my freedom- too much to tell her) untill I told her the truth, I didn't know, I hadn't made plans, I was just going to see if I could find any of my friends, and wasn't going to tag along with her and my two younger siblings.
I had been begging her to either let me go trick or treating alone/without them or for her to let me stay home, to no avail, for years now. She likes having someone around who can talk on an even level with her, and I'm the only one she can find, apparently.
I ended up wandering around one friend's neighborhood for an hour and a half, looking for her. I couldn't find her, went to another friend's house, kicked his butt in a game I had never played before, and started home. I took a wrong turn on the way home because there is a shortcut that involves going off a dead end road, cutting through some guy's backyard, jumping a stream, and running through twenty feet of trees to get to my backyard. I took a wrong turn to get to the dead end road, had to turn around, and finally found the right road. The stream was flooded too much to jump, so I had to carefully step across on stepping stones barely above the water, in the dark, with no flash lights, or moonlight (cloudy tonight) and only a little ambient light from the street (blocked by trees) to guide me. Everything looked like it was in shades of grey. I then picked my way through the little strip of trees, and made it in about four minutes before they told me to be there or they would lock the doors and I could sleep outside. (I have keys, I don't give a hamster. Besides, my bedroom is in the basement, I can slip in through the window.)
Well, there was my wonderful Halloween.
