I forgot tonight was Halloween. God it's nearly 11 and now I suddenly have an urge to sneak out. I dunno though I did see a raven (Or a massive crow) outside my window. I don't believe in omens but that was the first time I've seen a raven in my life (or a crow that big).
Anyway, tomorrow is the real day. Samhain! Represent! Today is just the feast day, the day made in celebration of the end of the cycle of life and death) Earlier in the year is the harvest day, then we have the feast day before the long period of nothing, and finally we have the The Day of Planting in December (one the day after the Winter Solstice), followed by the feast on the 25th in celebration of a successful planting and to give good luck to a new year. I'm rambling now. Modern Wiccans have taken many celtic holy days of farming and separated them into 8 sabbats. These hoyl days were original associated with farming, feast days following the day of planting, the first sprout, the harvest, etcetera.

A man once asked the Buddha, "How does one escape the heat of the summer sun?"
And the Buddha replied, "Why not try crawling into the blazing furnace?"
