EDIT: Yeah but Megil your character is breaking the law. I'm being objective here. Okay, this is the law. Isaarin has put two counts against Endris, that means he has to see trial where Isaarin will have to prove the duel was not legal. If Isaarin cannot prove the duel was not legal then he gets off. Despite that, Isaarin chose to bring him up on charges making it Megil's legal duty to arrest him. Furthermore, you need either a warrant or probable cause to arrest Wred which shows under what grounds your arresting someone. You can't arrest somebody because of their first name.

Now, you're right, Megil is the head of the Justice code there, but if he breaks the law, then his popularity WILL plummet, simple as that. I'm not saying that despite Isaarin's objections Megil couldn't take Wred, but he has to at least give a reason other than, "Because I said so."
