there are many species out there that have succesfully bred hybrids. you see it a lot with cichlids, and other fish. also while dolphins may be cetaqceans they are not the same species as other whales, It is probably rather common to see hybrid dolphins of two species. as for whales and dolphins it is highly unlikely as the two rarely school together in the wild.
Also plants hybridize all the time.
I never said dolphins were the same species as other whales, I was just saying that they
are whales, because dolphin breeding with whales could be just dolphins breeding with more dolphins(of the same species, of course)
