Umm... guys I hate to point this out...but...
If you actually read the law... This is only an extension of existing laws about harrassment. For example, it has been illegal for a very long time for you to continue to call someone on the telephone over and over again. This just extends the law to email and other electronic media. Its not the big deal the media is making it out to be. Remember the media is trying to get you to pay attention to them and the only way they can do it is to sensationalize everything! It in NO way is going to affect forum postings or anything of that nature. It is meant to protect a person from ON-GOING and REPEATED harrassment by a specific individual. |
