I don't think that is Telekinesis, since that scene is the beginning of the game, unless you meant that is how it will work from far away. I'm hoping they leave the spell available to use in the TESCS and merely didn't put it in the game.
The player not only will breach the map edges with levitation (although they could put that invisible wall up), but there is also the towns, which I believe someone else mentioned here already. You could levitate right into the low detail versions of the buildings (no NPC's, no clutter, etc.) and have to walk out of the town to get back in it.
