I never used them. If anything Ill miss the crossbow a liitle.

When this poll first came out, I would have said "no, I won't miss them." However, having just played an assassin who used darts as his major weapon, I've come to appreciate how cool they can be. But I think I'll survive Oblivion without them. I'll just have to get used to using daggers again.
About crossbows: I will admit that the Morrowind implementation of crossbows wasn't that spectactular. But crossbows can be quite powerful if properly designed. I remember hearing that at the height of crossbow usage/design, there were crossbows that could send their bolts through stone walls. Definitely a powerful weapon with great potential. I may miss what they could have been, but I never used them in Morrowind, so I guess I really won't miss them at all. |
