Ehhh finally I managed to kill one of them.....then both disappeared!!!
Those Hands of almalexia are a b**** to kill, I was going about killing Almalexia before doing the main quest, sure Almalexia was easy to kill but I think those 6 hands were each as powerful as her. Let me give you some stats
Hands of Almalexia: 394 health (not much) but 200 heavy armour skill, 150 block and 3 pts restore health per sec with their good armour and 5 exquisite health potions means they can take a punishment. 125 speed and endurance, 170 strength and agility, 150% resistance to fire, 40% reflect, around 50% resistance to frost, shock and paralysis; 20% to poision. 45% fortify attack. 1-43 ebony simitiar with an ok attack enchantment but only has 10 use so doesn't do much, except if you don't have reflect in which case it absorbs 50 strength for 10 seconds and damages 5 strength when multiplied by 6 leaves you with very little so you need reflect. One thing I noticed (didn't at the time), they don't have any resist magicka; wish I knew that because my frost spells weren't very effective.
Almalexia: 3000 health but no regeneration or defense agaisnt physical attacks. Immunity to fire, poison, paralysis, disease

& normal weapons. 50 resist shock, magicka and frost. 100-100 damage and hopefire which does 30-70 damage. But she only has 80 speed so is slower than the hand of almalexia. Her spell has weakness to fire 75% for 5s, fire damage 100pts & absorb health 40 with 10 shots of those. No reflect though. And note if you fight her before your supposed to she has 1-5pt regeneration per second.
All in all I think the hands are harder to beat because of their high armour and block and their large amounts of health potions (unless you pick pocket them). In a 1 on 1 fight I'd except a hand to win but I haven't tried this (I should) though that is largely because they have high resistance to fire.

Not sure if somebody mentioned this before. But sea creatures on the land. I find them quite alot now, and It always supprises me exactly how far they get up land. For some reason they seem to come in bunchs, usaully 3 dreugh on the top of a hill by the water or a couple of slaughterfish on the shore. Tends to be on steap surfaces though, not sure if thats related to the bug.
