Something To Look At While Waiting Options

I'm not sure if this link has been posted yet. I checked and didn't see it, if it's already posted i appologize in advance. Lately, (not wanting to spend 50-60 dollars on mediocre games) I've been searching the net for some free games. I ran into this gem.

Yes it's an abandonware site, but imho it's a lot more proffesional than some. Also they actually enforce the ESA protections on certian games, but all in all there are some great 320x200 16 color ega games waiting for you to download and kill some time

p.s. I am IN NO WAY affiliated with [zap], i just thought it was a cool place to pass some time while I wait for Oblivion

Abandonware is still technically illegal while little or no harm comes to the copyright holders. Distribution of copyrighted software of this kind is illegal, even if the holders of the copyrights have abandoned the copyright claim, or if the unauthorized distrubutors aren't prosecuted/ignored by law.
Thusly, we can't allow this here. As a sidepoint, if linking to such sites was allowed, it's likely we'd end up with warez as well. Either way, this thread is closed, and I'll remind that linking abandonware -- and linking to any kind of distribution scheme related to illegal distribution of copyrighted software - warez or otherwise -- is not allowed on the site/forums.
