I know this is a touchy subject...
But yes, I think that Oblivion will be the killer title for 360, only IF it is capable of being released before the widely anticipated Blue Dragon/Lost Odyssey from Hironobu Sakaguchi (father of Final Fantasy) gets translated. The other niche rpg from the East that just got released, no news of a translation so far is From Softwares eM [eNCHANT arM]. From Software's works on Xbox previously is the under-appreciated Otogi: Myth of Demons and Otogi 2. If Oblivion has a period of monopoly on 360's very dry rpg market, its sales will do well. However, if it has competiton, it goes without saying part of their profit margin will take a hit. |
