I never used them. If anything Ill miss the crossbow a liitle.

Not a single character i've used was very proficient in the marksman attribute so I am going to have to say no. I think it would be a riot to surprise a Daedroth by pelting him with darts and such as one is trying to come through a portal but the same can be done with a bow.
I was always heavily geared towards melee weapons and such because I am the type to be in the middle of an important and life threatening battle and realize that I have no where near as many bolts or arrows.
