I know that goodbye threads aren't really allowed by the admins and as such this will likely be closed in .3 seconds but still I am compelled to make a statement before I leave W4O. The reason for my leaving here is that there seems to be little point in me hanging around at an Oblivion fansite when I no longer plan on getting Oblivion.

Though I won't be getting Oblivion my time here has not been in vain, I've met many other friendly TES enthusiasts like myself, written part of a fan fiction, shared my thoughts and comments throughout the various parts of the site, and even made a few friends along the way.

But with Oblivion's release so close and the knowledge that I'm not going to pick up a copy, I believe my time here has reached its end. Though it is sad for me to leave this place where I have spent so much of my free time, I am finally done Waiting4Oblivion.

I must thank the members of this forum who have kept the forums alive all this time, it has been interesting. I must also give my thanks to all those who have read my fan fiction and encouraged me to keep writing since I began here.

Last but definately not least, I would like to thank the Administrators and the Moderators who have kept things clean and in order, you have been helpful and friendly while still enforcing the forum rules. I tried to keep this short and to the point so with that I'll say farewell to this awesome site, its been fun.

An official goodbye to W4O,

Kiln

Well, there's no law saying you have to leave if you don't intend to play Oblivion you know wink.gif

There will still be a general discussion just like on the official forums and if I were to make a guess, I'd say quite a few people in the CD on the official forums stopped playing morrowind a month after it was released, which didn't stop them from coming back smile.gif

But you're also correct, sorry but no going away threads, so I'll lock this and hope to still see you around smile.gif
