Yes yes...Satyana is about 32......so Rann will be 17?....that is in real life.BUT....Satyana has entered a dream-world..she has mentally got backwards, so she THINKS she´s about 15-16 because her memory of that time is unaffected. She thinks she´s that age and that´s why she keeps on ranting about her baby-brother! She doesn´t recognise Rann as her brother now because iin her world.....her brother´s a baby!
Now if the accident happened some 15 years ago..that will make sense.....Satyana got a nasty schock then......andalso got one ..now as Syke died..so...she has to be treated with something to get the mess in her brain back to normal. Some blows to her head.....or electric schock.....or something.....more futuristic, maybe that substance could be used? rithum was it?
