Was going to post this in another thread buts its locked...

Anyway how will my PC fair with Oblivion?

MOBO: ASUS A8V Deluxe
RAM: Corsair Pro 2056mb
Processor: AMD 64 4000+
Graphics: GeForce 7800 GS 256mb (AGP 8x)
HDD: WD Raptor 10,000 RPM 36gb x2 RAID configured

I recently swapped (less than a week ago) from an ATI X800 XT Platinum Edition 256mb (AGP 8x) to the GeForce 7800 GS. Was this a good or bad choice?

Looking forward to some replies!

Thanks,

Is this some kind of joke? mad.gif Are you making fun of all of us with PC's that are not nearly as good as yours? mad.gif In short, yes your PC will run perfectly. mad.gif

EDIT: Sorry if I seemed a little mad.gif , but I myself am desperately hoping my computer will even have a shot at running Oblivion. sad.gif

My PC's well over a year old, with the way PC's move on so fast I was still hoping I have a way of playing the game at top spec without having to fork out several grand again.

What are your PC specs?

I have a laptop. Laptops are designed to conserve power, so I have a processor that runs at 1.5 GHz. sad.gif All of my other stuff is fine however, if not better:

1 Gb of RAM biggrin.gif
128 Mb on my graphics card ( Nvidia FX series, supported by the game) smile.gif

I am hoping the extra RAM will make up for where the processor is lacking, but I doubt that it will. sad.gif
