I remember buying Arena because it was the heaviest game in the store (in those days, you judged a game by how heavy the box was - more disks - not CDs - the better). Anyway, my first impression of Arena was the same: WOW ! Now, roughly ten years later, it is truly amazing how the technoloy has advanced. Things that I only imagined might be possible when I first played Arena are now, unbelievably, right before my very eyes on a 53" screen !!! Amazing . . . Only played about 4 hours last night - but I can't wait to get back to it. I will also get the PC version in order to play with the editor, but for the next few months I plan to explore every nook and cranny . . . Eliassar |
