as for argonian vampires, not to sure about how it will affect your features. don't remember clearly if i ever saw one. my female dunmer looks HORRIBLE as a vampire. at least compared to beforehand, when she was young and pretty.
and as for powers/stat boosts... vampirism has 4 "stages". you advance in stages as you go longer and longer without feeding. in the first stage you take no damage from sunlight, and have +5 added to certain charateristics and skills (Strength, Speed, Willpower, Acrobatics, Athletics, Destruction, Hand to Hand, Illusion, Mysticism, Sneak). these additions go up by 5 points for each stage of vampirism, ending up in +20 in all of these skills/attributes
power at 25% vampirism is hunter's sight, which casts night-eye and detect life for 30 seconds. at 50%, you gain vampire's seduction, which is a nice charm spell, and makes it so people will talk to you at 100% level at 75%, you gain Reign of Terror, which casts Silence and Demoralize on your enemies. and finally, at 100%, you recieve Embrace of Shadows, which casts invisibility for 3 minutes and night eye for a minute and a half.
note: at level 4 (100%), most people in the game won't talk to you at all unless you bribe, persuade, or charm them (i.e. vampire's seduction). wearing personality+ equipment helps this too. when you feed, you go back to level 1 vampirism for a period of time. so if you absolutely have to walk in the day, feed that morning and you should be fine. note that you lose all stat boosts and such, effectively reducing your effectiveness. a decent trade off for being able to trade goods and talk to people who sleep without having to break in. and yes, you gradually get your powers back in time after feeding.
