 Oblivion Gates, Will they just keep popping up |

Will the Oblivion Gates just keep popping up? Is there an infinite amount of them?
Cos I found out that I wanted to close my second gate when I my lvl was alittle higher, so I could get better items in them. And now they just pops up every where  -------------------- waiting4skyrim now, banner still not updated^^

You can't close them all unless you complete the main quest, so don't go running around trying to do so unless you really enjoy it. I closed a number of them but only when they got in my way. I ignored others completely.
