I'm not racist like that, though from an observer of Oblivion I have to say I don't particularly like the redguards, because they don't look like black people, facial hair looks weird as hell on them, and they all have an eerie glow to them.

thats because originaly they weren´t people and they used to have red skin, they just look more human now because of inter racial mixing.

After running that passage of text, I think you got that from Wikipedia. The articles there aren't...well. Accurate concerning TES. And most information is culled from the highly-inaccurate, outdated, and heavily biased Pocket Guide.

when i get back into the official forum in august 2007 I´ll ask the lore masters, I could jsut go to the Imperial Library(or whatever it´s called) and try and find some info but I´m lazy

I could look up the redguards in the "new" poket guide to the empire, I remember reading something about them in there, I could type it up and post it here tommorow if you all don't mind.
