Druid/Shaman Mod, shapeshift into different animals Options

I'm sure im not the first person to come up with this idea, but there are thousands of posts here and to go through them all. I did do a quick search on druid, shaman and shapeshifitng ...but found nothing

first thing ...is this even possible it doesnt seem too complex since you could use the animals already in the game but what do i know

Getting forms could be handled a number of ways ...a new skill (shapeshifting) and buy forms from a vendor? ...but i think it would be more fun to earn them from questing, maybe off of a dryad in the woods

just a quick brainstorm let me know what you guys think

This is a nice Idea. I think that you should earn new forms by soul-trapping the creature whos form you want, then go to a guy in the arcane university (who would be modded in of course) and for a fine, he can use up the soul gem to create a spell that lets you transorm into the animal that was in the soul gem.
