I'm at the point that where I'm about to scream every time I see a troll. It's the only creature that can consistently pummel me to death. I have a stealth character, so I don't do much damage. Even if I manage to sneak attack it, if I doesn't kill the troll on the first blow (which I don't) they just regenerate health so fast that I can't kill them. Any suggestions other than wimping out and lowering the difficulty?

Fire poison is definitely the way to go!
 Shoot it, then run like hell and wait until it dies. Also, shooting from a dark spot and then, as soon as you fire, seeking cover so it can't see you helps greatly. -------------------- Being good means getting better.

Hint: If you're hiden in a shadow and VERY long distance,you can shot creatures and they won't detect you.They will just stand there wondering where did it come from.But this requires a high sneak skill,and as i said it must be done from a very long distance.
