You can also delete save games directly from the C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves-folder. The files are very comprehensive, for example
Save 100 - [your name] - Imperial City, Market District, Level 4, Playing Time 25.01.46.ess -------------------- Do not take me for a conjurer of cheap tricks!
