I'm on the arrow of extrication mission for the thieves guild. Unfortunately, It's glitched up, and I cant get into the tower(the moveable pillar in the mage's room doesnt do anything), so I'm stuck. I was wondering if anybody knew the console command to finish the quest?

No,but i know an alternative way to enter the tower.
It's through water.There is a small hatch near tthe tower.It can require some time to find it though (you can't see that clearly in the water) And this should be in the Spoiler section. -------------------- ''Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.''
