I need some help with my pet bird(Black masked lovebird). She seems to be sitting on my chair and eating my hair. What do I do?

She has lots of toys. The problem is just that she wants attention, which she gets by sitting on my arm or chair and pecking me until I show her I know shes here. But we dont want another bird or she will be with the other bird not people (according to all the books). Is there any way to train her to stop?
Edit: Nevermind, I found that her sitting on my shirt stops her claws and beak from hurting me. But now shes tickling my neck! This post has been edited by bloodyfish: Apr 16 2006, 01:52 AM |
