I also liked "how Orisinium passed to the Orcs" a very well written story about how Lord Gortworg gro-Nagorm won the homeland of his people. It also raises your heavy armour skill. One gripe I have with Oblivion is the fact that almost all the books in the game are from Morrowind. To be honest, apart from "The Argonian Account", "A report: Disaster at Ionith", "Manual of arms and armour", the guides to the cities and some book about a thief in Sutch I couldn't find any new books. It's like they borrowed 200 books from Morrowind and they made only 20 new ones for Oblivion.
I've found plenty.
Like Theif of Virtue, or Immortal Blood (one of my favorites, heh!), Ahzirr Trajijazaeri (funny

), The Legend of the Krately House, Mace Etiquette, The Refugees, etc.
I could go on and on....
